Moon Mission Changed Our View of Earth
In April
2026, NASA launched a mission intended to lead to a permanently crewed lunar
station within a few years. However, the groundwork was laid back in 1961 with
a bold undertaking that would fundamentally change the way we view Earth's
natural satellite. On May 25, 1961, U.S. President John F. Kennedy announced
that the United States would participate in the race to the Moon. The goal of
the Lunar Orbiter mission was to capture detailed images of our
satellite—including its dark, unknown far side. Within three years, NASA
photographed 99 percent of the Moon and identified 36 potential landing sites.
These images laid the foundation for the successful Apollo 11 mission and gave
people on Earth a new perspective on their own planet. The Moon always looks the
same. If you were to diligently track the lunar cycle from one new moon to the
next—a period of 29.5 days—and continue doing so indefinitely, you would always
see the same side of the Moon. Earth and the Moon are linked by what is known
as tidal locking. This phenomenon frequently occurs between planets and their
primary moons. Essentially, it means that the Moon completes one rotation on
its axis in the same amount of time it takes to complete one orbit around

US military. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says it has
destroyed a US Saildrone Explorer reconnaissance vessel at the entrance to the
Strait of Hormuz, releasing footage showing the unmanned craft burning in the
water. The IRGC Navy said on Thursday that the vessel, identified by hull
number 5838, was struck while operating near the strategic waterway. Iranian
state media described it as an American surveillance drone, but the US military
has not confirmed the loss. “The American terrorist and aggressor army, over
the past few days, out of fear of approaching and confronting the fighters of
Islam, has dispatched its unmanned vessels to the Strait of Hormuz,” the IRGC
said. The strategic waterway remains under Tehran’s control and “intelligence
surveillance,” the IRGC added, warning that “any hostile presence in this

Government’s fast-track consenting regime, clearing the way for longer wharves,

the Stella Passage Development has received fast-track approval, making it the
34th project approved through the process. Port of Tauranga Limited lodged its
application in January 2026, with the required approvals secured approximately
five months after an independent expert panel was appointed to consider the
proposal. The project will substantially expand infrastructure at the Sulphur
Point and Mount Maunganui wharves. Both wharves will be extended by more than

The White
House and U.S. Navy are considering frigate designs from South Korea, Japan and
Turkey for a new class of warships, USNI News has learned. An international
warship competition could include building up to two of the ships in foreign
shipyards before transitioning to domestic yards as part of the Trump
administration’s push to rapidly expand the fleet, three industry sources
familiar with the deliberations confirmed to USNI News this week. The move
would break with more than a century of U.S. domestic naval construction.
Potentially buying frigates abroad follows an August White House memo that
opened the door for the Pentagon to consider foreign designs by invoking a
“national security interest” waiver to bypass a U.S. law prohibiting
foreign-built warships from entering naval service. After the White House
issued the memo, Acting Secretary of the Navy Hung Cao directed the office of the
assistant secretary of the Navy for research, development and acquisition
William Mahan to oversee a study of international combatants, roll-on, roll-off
cargo vessels and consolidated cargo replenishment at sea (CONSOL) tankers for
Military Sealift Command, according to memo language reviewed by USNI News.

physician has testified that she is aware of 28 American service members whose
deaths were caused by Covid-19 mRNA ‘vaccines’. Dr Theresa Long, an Army medical

a federal court in Virginia. Long further stated that 2,544 deaths reported

2,544 cases were submitted to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System
(VAERS), the federal surveillance system used to identify potential safety
signals following vaccination. VAERS reports alone do not establish causation,
but Long’s testimony concerning 28 military deaths represents a considerably
stronger allegation: that she knows of cases in which the vaccines were responsible.
The testimony adds to continuing scrutiny of the military’s Covid ‘vaccination’
programme. Under former President Joe Biden, service members were ordered to

People aboard
recreational boats measuring six metres or less will be required to wear
properly fitted lifejackets while underway under legislation passed by
Parliament. The Maritime Transport (Lifejackets on Recreational Craft)
Amendment Bill establishes a nationwide requirement intended to replace
differing approaches to lifejacket use on smaller recreational vessels.
Associate Transport Minister James Meager said 17 people died in recreational
boating incidents in New Zealand during 2025, with 12 of those found not to
have been wearing lifejackets. “This legislation creates one clear, simple
national rule for everyone to follow,” Meager said, describing the change as
aimed at reducing preventable deaths on the water....

names and what it eventually drags into a courtroom are rarely the same thing.
Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker has called for a constitutional ban on
"political Islam", telling Austrian media that a political
understanding of Islam is incompatible with democracy and Western values.
Pressed on where he would find the two-thirds majority such a law requires,
having ruled out governing with the Freedom Party (FPÖ) that won the 2024
election, he said he did not know. Portugal has reached the statute book by a
different route. President António José Seguro has promulgated a law
accelerating the removal of foreign nationals living in the country illegally,
extending detention to 180 days and barring those removed by force from
returning for five years, after the Constitutional Court cleared the text
unanimously. It passed only because Chega abstained while the parties of the
Left voted against — the votes of the party the political mainstream treats as the
danger. Birmingham City Council has meanwhile asked the High Court to stop
campaigners hanging British and English flags from its lampposts, an injunction
whose breach would carry up to two years in prison or an unlimited fine.
Critics have noted that the same authority lit its central library in
Pakistan's national colours and left Palestinian flags hanging from those
lampposts for months without troubling a judge. Vienna cannot draft a
definition of political Islam tight enough to survive a court, and so does
nothing. Birmingham requires no definition at all, because its application
names "persons unknown" — and the enemy within, in the end, is simply
whoever can be served with papers...

Norway’s new
queen corresponded with Epstein for three years
Mette-Marit's
exchanges with the late American sex offender are now the subject of a parliamentary
commission and have already led to criminal charges against a former Council of
Europe secretary general. Mette-Marit, who became Queen of Norway on August 28,
exchanged emails with Jeffrey Epstein between 2011 and 2014, years after his
2008 guilty plea for soliciting a minor for prostitution. Her name appears
roughly 1,000 times in the files released by the US Department of Justice in
January, according to Norwegian daily VG. The palace had previously described
the contact as brief and said it had ended in 2013. One exchange dated November
1, 2012 has circulated widely since her husband succeeded to the throne.
Replying to a scientific article Epstein had sent her, Mette-Marit wrote that
people would soon no longer make new humans and could instead “design them in a
lab”. In the same message she told him that he made her smile because he
tickled her brain. Weeks earlier she had described a royal wedding in
Luxembourg as boring. Other released messages show her asking Epstein whether
it would be inappropriate to suggest wallpaper depicting two naked women for
her 15-year-old son’s room, and discussing his search for a wife in Paris. In
an email from October 2011 she told him she had looked him up online and agreed
that what she found did not look good, closing the sentence with a smiling
face. She continued writing to him for another three years. The files also show
she stayed four days at Epstein’s Palm Beach house in 2013 while he was absent,
an arrangement the palace said was made through a mutual friend. It said she
broke off contact in 2014 because she believed he was using the relationship as
leverage with others. Mette-Marit apologised twice in February and told
broadcaster NRK in March that she had been manipulated and deceived, and had not
known Epstein was an abuser. She is not accused of any wrongdoing. Prime
Minister Jonas Gahr Støre said she had shown “poor judgement”, a rare rebuke of
a royal by a serving Norwegian head of government. A survey for broadcaster TV2
that month found 47.6 per cent of Norwegians opposed her becoming queen and
28.9 per cent in favour. The Norwegian fallout has reached European
institutions. Thorbjørn Jagland, prime minister in 1996-1997 and Council of
Europe secretary general from 2009 to 2019, was charged with aggravated
corruption in February after the organisation’s Committee of Ministers waived
his immunity at Oslo’s request. He denies all charges. Diplomats Terje
Rød-Larsen and Mona Juul are also under investigation. The Storting voted in
March to establish an independent commission into contacts between Epstein and
the Norwegian foreign ministry...

Maria (Spanish: Cabo Santa María) was a Spanish general cargo ship built by
Empresa Nacional Bazán at Cartagena, Spain. She was one of four Type Y merchant
ships ordered under the new-construction programme of the state-owned Empresa
Nacional Elcano. Launched on 20 December 1955 as Hernando de Solís, she entered
service in 1957 as Díaz de Solís for Naviera Comercial Aspe. Ybarra y Compañía
acquired and renamed her in 1963 or 1964; contemporary and later registers
differ by one year. On 1 September 1968, while making her 28th outward voyage
from Europe to South America, the ship ran aground in Salinas Bay on the north
coast of Boa Vista, Cape Verde. All 37 crew members were reported safe.
Attempts to refloat her failed and she was declared a total loss.[5][6] The
unloading of her cargo involved residents from across the island and entered
local memory as a providential supply of food during a period of scarcity. The
wreck became a visual symbol of Boa Vista, and the adjoining part of Praia de
Atalanta came to be popularly known as Cabo Santa Maria beach...

MV Joyita was
an American merchant vessel from which 25 passengers and crew mysteriously
disappeared in the South Pacific in October 1955. She was found adrift with no
one aboard. The ship was in very poor condition, with corroded pipes and a
radio which, while functional, had a range of only about 2 miles (3.2 km)
because of faulty wiring. However, the extreme buoyancy of the ship made
sinking nearly impossible. Investigators were puzzled as to why the crew had
not remained on board and waited for help. MV Joyita was a 69-foot (21.0 m)
wooden ship built in 1931 as a luxury yacht by the Wilmington Boat Works in Los
Angeles for movie director Roland West, who named the ship for his wife,
actress Jewel Carmen — joyita in Spanish meaning "little jewel".[1]
In 1936 the ship was sold and registered to Milton E. Beacon.[2] During this
period, she made numerous trips south to Mexico and to the 1939–1940 Golden
Gate International Exposition in San Francisco. During part of this time,
Chester Mills was the captain of the vessel...

though accession were a queue in which candidate countries wait their turn and
the only serious question is how long the wait will be. Iceland has just
demonstrated that there is a prior question, and that voters can be relied on
to answer it in a way their governments do not want. Icelanders have rejected
reopening accession talks by 52.8 per cent, on a turnout higher than at any
parliamentary election since 2009, with only the two Reykjavík constituencies
backing the Icelandic Government's proposal. Fishing decided it: The sector
supplies around 40 per cent of goods exports and about 8 per cent of national
output, and opponents warned that membership would place Icelandic waters under
the Common Fisheries Policy, where quotas and access are set collectively...

installation, at Turnow-Preilack in the Spree-Neiße district, is a 380-kilovolt
node in the extra-high-voltage network. mprovised explosive and incendiary

Brandenburg, eastern Germany, which feeds electricity from the nearby Jänschwalde
lignite plant into the grid. Police were alerted around 8am on September 1
after damage to a line. Bomb-disposal teams found several homemade devices; at
least one detonated, others did not. Nobody was hurt and there was no lasting
blackout. Grid operator 50Hertz said unidentified perpetrators damaged several
lines; supply was interrupted only briefly. It said the damage was attempted
with homemade projectiles resembling shop-bought fireworks rockets, and that
further projectiles which had not been launched were recovered at the site. The

military analyst says a larger munitions payload directly affords
guided-missile frigate stronger independent combat capabilities. China appears
to be adding capacity to the vertical launch system (VLS) of its most advanced
guided-missile frigate Type 054B under construction in Shanghai, satellite
images show, allowing it to have a larger missile reserve and stronger anti-air
defence capabilities. According to satellite images taken by US intelligence
company Vantor on June 28, the VLS at the bow of a Type 054B vessel had a
different shape compared to the first two Type 054B vessels that have already
entered service…

O’Mullony - A continent can be measured by who votes for it, who profits from
it and who supplies it. On all three counts the direction of travel is now
legible, and it points away from self-government.
In Sweden,
previously unpublished Novus polling gives the three left-wing parties 85 per
cent of the Muslim vote ahead of the September 13 election, against a combined
3.8 per cent for the three parties in office. Election researcher Henrik
Ekengren Oscarsson puts the pattern down to income and marginalisation rather
than faith, describing a new underclass reliant on benefits and the
distribution of resources, which is a diagnosis of dependency rather than a
refutation of one.
In Budapest,
a party that won a two-thirds majority in April on a promise of regime change
is explaining emails placing its deputy leader in contact with the firm that
later took the HUF 3.91 billion (€10.7 million) contract for the August 20
state celebrations, weeks before the tender opened. Hardrock submitted the only
bid after the two other invited companies said the deadline was too short, and
anti-corruption campaigner Ákos Hadházy's verdict on the trimmed budget was
that stealing less is still theft.
In Berlin,
industry has at last asked the Chancellor for protection, after a record €89.3
billion goods deficit with China last year and warnings from the machinery
association that unfair competition is deindustrialising Europe. The conversion
is partial, though, because the carmakers now seeking duties on Chinese hybrids
still hold their most profitable plants inside the market they want tariffed.
Each of these
has a technical answer available: An integration policy, a procurement audit, a
tariff schedule. The harder point is that whatever a country contracts out it
eventually stops knowing how to do, and a continent that has outsourced its
supply will not indefinitely retain the habit of governing itself.

negotiations. The results weren’t favorable to the EU: 52.8% of Icelanders
voted No and 47.2% voted Yes, with turnout of 82.5%. The question was not even
whether Iceland should join the EU, but whether talks about joining should
restart at all. A Yes vote would have authorized negotiations; any eventual
accession treaty would have required a second referendum...

voters have narrowly rejected restarting negotiations to join the European
Union, more than a decade after the country suspended its accession process.
According to public broadcaster RUV, 52.8% voted against reopening talks with
Brussels in Saturday’s referendum, while 47.2% supported doing so, with more
than 225,000 people taking part. The result exposed a geographic divide, with
voters in Reykjavik backing renewed negotiations while rural areas largely
opposed them. Prime Minister Kristrun Frostadottir had originally promised a
referendum by 2027 but brought the vote forward amid heightened geopolitical tensions.
Supporters of reopening negotiations argued that closer EU ties could provide
greater economic and currency stability while giving Iceland more influence
over European rules it already follows through the European Economic Area...

have called for the Alternative for Germany (AfD) to be outlawed, arguing that
the country’s largest opposition party “threatens” Germany’s constitutional
order. Writing in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, the left-wing globalist
SPD and Green politicians accused elements of the AfD of promoting ethnic
nationalism and “remigration,” while also criticising its positions on Russia,
NATO, the EU and the euro. They argued that conventional political debate is
insufficient to counter what they regard as an increasingly radical movement
and said a constitutional review of the party is justified. The intervention
comes as the AfD enjoys support of around 28% in recent polling, ahead of the
governing CDU/CSU bloc on about 20%. Germany’s domestic intelligence service
currently designates the AfD as a suspected right-wing extremist organisation,
allowing authorities to subject the party and its members to surveillance...
